Where to buy leaf springs in the DC Area
« on: April 28, 2011, 08:06:23 pm »
Well, it seems there are a lot of places to buy springs online, but shipping is a killer.  Does anyone know anywhere in the Annapolis MD area to buy new packs of springs?  Or an online shop that has free shipping past 500 bucks or so?

Here's what I'm looking to get, but they want 130 bucks for shipping

Do you have any local springs shops, or 4wd shops, maybe they can get them for you on one of thier regular orders and save you freight, just have to wait for them to order probably.

I don't think so, that's what I'm in search of.  I have a trick trucks, but there asking for a set of leafs is outrageous.

I found a place about 70 miles away that wants about 330 for both, but they will not sell me anything until I bring my truck up there for them to look at and make sure it's the right leaf they are giving me.  At 8mpg, I'm better off paying the online freight.
