Boggers vs TSLs

First off I am new to this board.  I am looking for a truck to start a offroad project.  

Anyway, which do you guys prefer?  Also which tire lasts the longest, and which tire has the better street ride?

Ummmmm, neither tire was made for the street so they both have terrible road characteristics.  My personal favorite is the TSL.

Well, first off what do you plan to use your project for?  There's different tires equipped for for sand, mud, rocks, no highway usage, some highway usage, and heavy highway usage...

Boggers for the mud, good choice.  Boggers for the street, or looks only, a waste.  If you like the look of the regular TSL's, I strongly suggest the radial.  Especially if the street is where the truck will be the most.

My project will be  mostly a mud truck but will hit the trails occassionally.  The problem is that most of the good trails/ mud bogs are around 100 miles away from where I live.  I dont really want to build a trailer queen and have to tow the truck to these places, so I would have to drive there and back.

TSLs sound like the way to go for you.  Boggers are just too dang loud on the road.  But then again if it's gonna be a daily driver, get yourself a set of Boggers and rims out of your newspaper or trading post for playing and get yourself a set of street tires or all-terrains for everyday driving.

thanks for the advice.

I think the TSL radial would be a good all around choice for me.  Probly  36x12.50 is what size I will get.  I was a little confused when I checked interco's site though.  The wheel size for 36x12.5R15 is 15x9.  I cant find any 15x9 wheels and Im not sure about stock wheel sizes.  Any help would be great

Trust me, if you go with 8's or 10's, you will be fine.  If you want to go mudding, 10's may be what you want.  If you want to play with rocks, get 8's and protect the wheels and beads.  Also, if you go with 10's, you can't air them down as much as with 8's, if that is something you plan to do.

So if my truck is going to be a mud truck, I should buy 36x12.5R16 Radial TSLs because the wheel size is 16x10?
