Quadrajet rebuild
« on: July 19, 2011, 01:00:17 pm »
I got rid of the electronic q-jet carb my 86 Silverado came with.  I found a guy that rebuilds carbs and fuel injection units.  He and his wife work together and seem to be very knowledgeable with fuel systems.  I ordered a rebuilt quadrajet from him, it was shipped on time and looked good when it got here.  I installed it and it ran fine right out of box.  The only adjustment needed was with the idle.  it's always good to find a good source for parts.  I hope it's OK to do this, here is his business name and phone number (if I'm out of line Chris, just delete this post)

I have heard nothing but good things about them although I have not utilized their services personally.
