Crewcab vs Suburban interior pieces (headliner related)

I was at the local Pull-a-Part yesterday grabbing some goodies and was wondering something...Does a Crewcab with a headliner have a different Inner Roof Structure than one without a headliner?  My '91 V3500 does not have a headliner and the Inner Roof Panel is a solid piece of steel.  I was looking at an '89 Silverado Suburban and noticing that the Inner structure above the headliner is just the roof reinforcements that run from side-to-side and a small bit of sheetmetal around the edges for the headliner trim and the grab handles.

Would a Crewcab with a headliner be the same?  I don't remember exactly, but it seems that the crewcab inner roof structure is made up of three pieces; a front section that goes just beyond the sunvisors, a large center section that covers most of the roof, and a short rear section.  It seems from memory that the large center section is the one that is maybe different.

Anyone know?

I also saw something else interesting...there was an '87 bonus cab there also that looked like it was probably an old railroad rig.  It was a no headliner rig, but it also did not have a dome light!  The dome light section of the steel inner roof was un-cut!!!  Really...an option for no dome light???

I was at the local pull-a-part getting some goodies yesterday.  I grabbed the over-door trim for the front door, the B-pillar trim and the over windshield trim from an '89 Silverado Suburban.

Anyone know if these pieces are the same pieces for the crewcab?  I gather that the over-door trim for the rear doors is not the same between the suburban and crewcab, but the forward pieces and the b-pillar pieces seem like they should be the same.  Of course the A-pillar trims were not in the truck!  

I also got the glove-box light, fiber-optic ash-tray light setup, door pins and wiring to make my rear doors operate the dome light, and some various other little, hard-to-find items that I needed.

All roofs on the Crews are steel just like the pickups.  Suburbans are the only ones with the open roof from the inside.

everything from the middle door forward is the same, A pillar, front, over door and B pillar.
For the rear everything from the back of a regular cab pickup is the same.  For a Crew, the one piece that is different is the piece that goes over the rear doors, but if you can fab it or extend it the one on the Burb can be made to work.

BTW, I merged these to keep the info together.

Thanks Cappy!  That is what I thought.  What about the over-door grab-handles on the suburban?  did the crews have these?  On the Suburban they attach with bolts that go into weld-nuts on the inner roof panel.

On the Drivers side I believe they did.  just get a nutsert for it.

Doesn't seem like it would be as sturdy as the stock weld nut that has more bearing area.  We use AVKs and Rivnuts all over on our Kenworth trucks, but reacting the twisting moment of a grab-handle through an AVK gripping a small area around a hole in sheetmetal sounds like it is going to rip out.

I'll have to see if I can find a crewcab in a wrecking yard somewhere that had grab handles...AND...interior trim that hasn't been pilfered! If possible.
