what size to run with a 3-5 drop?
« on: May 30, 2003, 03:48:00 pm »
my truck is dropped 3in front and 5in the back and im still running 15 inch rallies and would like to know what size of tire would look good and fit good on these wheels I like my rallies and want to continue to run them for now but wouldnt mind a lower pro tire but i dont want any space showing in the wheel well also iv been told that 10 inch wheels and 50 sieris tires will ruin my front end or crack my frame ..any truth to this???

Crack the frame? That's bullshit if I ever heard it. I seriously doubt a tire/wheel change would crack the frame.

If your rally wheels are 15x8 in the front and 15x10 in the back like mine, 275/50/R15 in the front and 295/50/R15 in the back should look alright.... I currently run 255/60/R15 and 275/60/R15's on my truck if you want to see my truck with these tires its here www.cardomain.com/id/lacan but just to tell you it isn't lowered yet

id run a 285/70 in back and a 225/70 in front.  The big tire really looks good tucked up in there.
