They're around. Check ebay, rockauto, and your mom and pop auto parts stores. That little "HELP!" section with all the parts in the red packaging often has them. Get a brand new one though, its one part that you definitely don't want to skimp on. All the used ones are just too well worn to justify using one as a replacement.

To add intermediate windshield wipers to a non intermediate truck, all it takes is changing out the switch ?  I have wondered about this my self for my 74, just have not had the time to investigate it yet.  If someone knows the answere it would save me some time. ( Yea, I know I am taking the lazy route on this one. )  8)

I have no idea. But it seems like with modern technology, they could get that going inside the switch itself.

Not sure but you may need a different switch in addition to a different wiper motor and a delay control box like another truck mfgr. uses.  You are probably going to have to review the wiring diagrams for your truck's year to make certain.  IIRC, the wiring diagrams are already displayed on the site somewhere.

Without doing any research, I kinda thought it would take more than just the wiper switch.
