Shocks for a lowered 87 Chevy 1/2
« on: June 20, 2012, 09:45:31 am »
I need to replace my shocks for my 87 Chevy R10. I'm lowering it and I want to buy some decent shocks for a 5/7 drop. I would like to get some KYB shocks but I'm not sure of the proper part numbers. Can anyone help?

I went ahead and bought some KYB Max Performance Struts. I got them 20% off. So hopefully they will work out.

Are they the stock shocks for the truck? If so they are going to bottom out and the ride quality is gonna be terrible.

If the spring drop isn't excessive (like over 2") stock shock will work.
