Tranny swap help...

Ok so I bought a truck with a decent cab and and granny low four speed to fix my blue one.. Blue one is a 77. parts truck is an 80s model parts truck, has complete drivetrain except for engine . I need some advice. I have been told that the pedal angles were different so I wouldn't be able to use any that I have.. Also have to cut a shifter hole in my cab.. And then still fix the rust. I know there's a bracket on the Frame for the clutch lincage, how hard would it be to transfer tht to my frame? Any advice is welcome I'm in a hard spot on what I'm needing to do..

I was under the impression the only difference in the clutch pedal set up is mechanical versus hydraulic.   Assuming your donor is a mechanical the bracket should be bolted in.  Depends on how original you want to have it look and you need to swap the steering column as well.  To do it right you need to think of the reverse light hook up and clutch safety switch.  It has been a while since I've done one but the pedals should go right into your automatic truck.  If you have any body lift the clutch rod will need to be lengthened.  I am sure there are other considerations.  A 4x4 cab naturally has the high hump so you should be good there.  I am sure there will be a lot of folks to chime in.  Use the search box and you will find several posts on this subject.

Thanks. On my phone so it's kinda hard using the website but I don't car how it looks I just want reliability. Just torch out the rivets on the
Bracket and drill holes on my frame and bolt it up with grade 8 bolts? Also parts truck didn't come with a colum.. Guess I'll just remove the lever from mine for now if that's possible

The holes should be there one the frame for the clutch linkage bracket

     Zieg is right, holes should be there for the swap.  Yes, just disconnect your column shift and use your column for now.
