lowering coils???

Iwant to tower the front of my truck aboot 1-2" in the front but i dont know of any good aftermarket coil spring setup.  I would personaly like to take the factory spring and cut a coil off hows does this work. thanks

P.S I had teh intension of inproving the hide so I replaced the front coils on my k10 to relize that the Dang auto parts place sold me 3/4 ton srings for my 1/2 ton Dammm!!!!!!

You mean C-10, right?

Cutting coils is not a good method, and should only be considered temporary.  It is not a way to have a good ride.  If you want cheap, then the cheapest acceptable way is lowered coils.  More expensive, but requiring less work to align later, is dropped spindles.

Pick up a magazine called "Truckin'" or
"street trucks" or "sport truck".  I think you'll find what your looking for.  Go bell tech, They are the best springs
