Talking stock axles, the ring gear bolts, the spider gears, and the pinion diameter are all larger and the R&P is stronger on a 10-bolt.  Stock carrier and spiders on the D44s are notoriously weak.  Only place a D44 is stronger is the axle housing, 1/2" walls instead of 1/4" or .313" walls.  From they're out they're nearly identical.

No idea.  I haven't checked to see what they go for new to determine what they're worth.  Just for the solid aluminum I think they're worth $10 a piece but I'd probably want a little more for them. :-) I won't be ready to get rid of them until this summer though.

thats cool I wouldn't even have enough for shipping tell summer :)
I wish I was looking for 8 lug rims though. But investing in 3/4 axles is a bit much for me :p

It's not gonna be a really cheap setup but after I shredded a $250 locker and a set of spiders I knew I was gonna have to put some money into an axle.  I feel a lot better about building a bullet-proof 14-bolt than I do putting any more money into the little 10-bolt though.  I'll at least have something to show for it when I'm done.
