Happy Independence Day America!!!
« on: July 04, 2012, 10:04:04 am »
Wishing all the very best and safe Happy Independence Day!!!  What started out as a small gathering "work day" to help us prepare for my son's graduation open house this coming Sunday turned into having over 30 folks (all family) out to give us a hand.  I truly feel blessed.  101 temps expected... oh boy  Burgers/Dogs on the grill and enough soda to go around...  Yesterday was trying for me out in the heat.  Thought I could hold up better than I did...

That's great Zieg! 30 family members around...wow. Sounds like a great time. Stay out of the sun/heat as much as you can and let them help.
Hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet! That's what it is all about today.

It's a little different for me but just as good. Not doing anything work related. It's just me and the dog hanging out. The wife went to visit our daughter's friend that was in the accident with her. It's a couple hour drive and she has not been able to see her since the accident so she is going to make a day of it.

Happy 4th of July everyone.

Happy 4th!! Don't forget our troops who can't be with their families tonight and make it possible for these celebrations.

Happy 4th to all of you, and your families!  :)

Yesterday was the first really good day I've had in a while. Been feeling really blah about everything. But ut rained yesterday morning, and left us with cool temps to bbq up some ribs, have a couple beers and just get back to a better frame of mind.

Hope y'all had a good 4th.
