Glass fuse to blade fuse.
« on: July 21, 2012, 09:59:53 pm »
Alright. My brother wants to snag the wiring harness out of my 79 cab because his is all sketchy.  His truck is a 77 so it has the old glass fuses where the 79 has the blade fuses. Will I have any issurs swapping out the fuse box and main in cab wiring harness onto his truck? The cab doesnt have the engine side wiring, only the in cab. The engine side plugs look the same.

The plug is the same, you might find that the pin positions are different though.
