puttin the 406 in the 85 this week
« on: August 25, 2012, 10:38:20 am »
Well I am finally home after 8 months of deployment and after spending some quality time at home with my wonderful wife I am taking the truck to my fathers house  in winchester were I have a 406 that my father was kind enough to drive 2 hours to pickup for me while I was gone. I think he looked at 3 other motors and made dozens of phone calls before we decided on the 406. I also have a bundle of goodies for the new motor, and a monster transmission kit for the 700r4. I put alot of time into looking up parts and putting together a build that will run like I want it to. I'd like to thank everyone on here that helped me with any of my questions. Wish me luck everyone , if all goes well the 85 will be back on the road in about a week. thanks everyone y'all are great. Ill be posting pics of the build and the truck when its done.
Go ahead hit it with a hammer. Theres only one level of broke.
