* Try a little starting fluid.
* Pull 2-3 spark plugs to see if they are 'wet' with fuel.
* While a spark plug is out, connect it to its wire, lay it on the manifold and crank the engine - does it have a strong blue-white spark?
* Does the fuel 'smell' like gasoline - any chance the fuel is contaminated?
* Check the fuel pressure.

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!

update

i hooked up the in line spark tester between one plug and its wire, although there was spark indicated by the flickering light on the tester it looked weak, maybe only 20% of the flickering light intensity i viewed when the tester was hooked direct to the coil. i did pb blast the perimeter of the plug for possible removal as i have yet to pull it to check for evidence of fuel moisture at the plug. i was hoping the weak spark would be an indicator of some apparent problem?

thanks

Here's a little help.

Also check the grounds in front of the throttle body and check the oil pressure switch behind the intake manifold.
