Lol......No you can have it if you want.....I would still have to convience the "better-half" because I have three already. I would sell all three to get one of the extended. So if you want to pounce on it, go for it. I was going to talk to the lady tonight about it, but I am pretty sure she will not be for it, she keeps giving me the "family" talk. It would prob take me too long anyways. I just hating driving that far to look to see if it is even the right thing and then have to drive back to get it, or rent a car dolly before even seeing it and hope that it is good. Working two jobs, just does not give me a lot of time for that.

Just got over excited seeing one in my own state, since I have never seen any this north other then pictures of yours zieg. So if you jump on it before I can or will then go for it.

....  I just need a good cab anyway for what I am wanting to do...

That's funny because I was thinking about putting the front clip and cab on my 4x4 frame and use the 8ft bed I have to cut it down so it looked right, and then sell the 6.5ft bed on it and the other 9 tons of crap I have in my yard (really need a barn).

That wheelbase looks REALLY short for the sum of the body parts. I agree with those windows being from an '80's-'90's Ford ex-cab truck. Betting large money on home-made. Lorne

Wow, I have been so busy I didn't realize how much slacking off I've done on keeping up with these trucks. Sorry guys. Luckily I've got my good friend Zeig here to cover for me. Thanks Zeig
On this truck I see so many things that make me think its a newer conversion using the 89 up extended cab chassis. It even looks like the back half of cab , lower section is from the newer truck. The mos alignment of the front end in wheel wells, the distance the wheels sit in, all point to grafting square body cab onto newer ex cab back half. I'd like to see it in person.

That's the same thing I was thinking newer chassis-old body, and even the wheels are 89-up 5 lug (which I know fit our trucks, but it all points to newer chassis to me), that is why I really did not want to make the 2.5 hour drive, with to days gas prices, plus I would have to rent a car dolly (cause I do not own one) just incase I did like it so I would not have to drive there again. I am glad you feel this way to choptop, it was hurting me a little letting it go since we really do not see "real" ext cabs up north very much at all. Zeig's is the closest I have seen or heard of.

I am curious if he went and looked at it, because he asked me for the info.

I unfortunately am not going after it at this time.  My wife pointed out all of my projects I have going and the fact that I had to borrow my dad's truck for a Menard's trip.  5 trucks and the only one insured to go anywhere is my extended cab and I haven't even started it since I put it away for winter...  To keep peace, I couldn't argue with that logic and backed down.  I have 2 complete bathroom remodels and a lot of flooring to put down before I can even start my shop.  I need to complete the inside projects, and have at least a truck to go get stuff, then maybe take on another project...  Those trucks don't show up often but I bet my buddy Choptop can find one when I need it some years away...

I do still come across them once in a while. Mine have been put on hold temporarily to manage life I.e. debts.house repairs, shop make ready work... fortunately debt part is done, house work and shop work underway. Had to motorcycle projects distract me a bit ( I'm a motorcycle addict as well) and now have a new bed I'm working on getting painted for my 01 crew cab...The diesel ex cab is next. I hope to have it running before fall.
I'd sure like to know more about this one in particular, but am sure its not a CVI or Stage coach truck. Glad everyone is still watching out for them
