Help verifying which fitting is return line (4L80E)

Found this on the B&M website

I've seen older 4L80 fittings and the rear one is way at the tail of the tranny unlike mine.  I'm guessing mine is the "above/below" one so the top/rear one is the return that should come from the top of the radiator (the top is out right)?  A confirmation from someone that knows would be great.

Yours is the early style.  The upper one (at the left of the pic) is the "upper" one.
