Bolt Pattern
« on: December 04, 2012, 11:07:38 pm »
Had my wife measure the bolt pattern on my 85 C10. She says that both the front and back are 5x5.5, does this sound right? I have no idea what the guy before me did to the truck, but I thought stock it should have been 5x5? Any help greatly appreciated.

How is it being measured.  You can't measure from one lug center to another.

All 1/2T 2WD trucks has 5 on 5" bolt circle.

On a 5-lug pattern you typically measure from the outside edge of one stud, across the pattern to the center of one of the studs on the opposite side.  That gets you very close to the bolt circle measurement.  You should be able to get within 1/16th of the actual bolt circle dimension.
