85 k30 dually options ?
« on: January 23, 2013, 06:52:46 pm »
Ok everyone got a quick question. I'm looking at a 1985 k30 dually. It's been described to me as a factory big block with air and automatic with 4wd. It's got 4.56 gears according to the previous owner and I'm wondering which auto and transfer case it has. The tcase shift knob has a generic front and rear axle truck picture unlike my other np205 knob.

Thanks

Larry

If its an auto, it is most likely a TH400. The T-case should be a NP205. As for the shifter knob, it could have been replaced at some point.

205 only case offered in a K30. Should be a TH400 unless its been swapped for something else.
