P.O. workmanship
« on: February 13, 2013, 01:36:21 am »
well i just got my tax return last night so i used the money to get me 2 tires for the front of my dually well long story short since i have bought the truck in December its had this thing where once i hit 45 it would start to vibrate so i asked some guys at the shop i took it to when i first found this out since i was having the back 4 replaced at that time they told me it was the tie rods well today as i stated before i had the front tires replace well first thing i notice is the tire when bolted on was moving more than it should so i had them check it. they told me straight off the bearings were out so i went to autozone got all the stuff for the bearings to replace it. i get it all tore apart and find out the bearings are fine the p.o had evidently never done bearings before and didnt have it tightened right so instead of being nice tight and no wiggle but still set to spec they had the thing off quite a bit
