hey there just curious... do 88-97 shorty headers fit 73-87 c10? there the same engine... is the only difference the O2 sensor?

Yes they fit.  The bung for the O2 sensor is really close to the frame and needs to be notched out.  Vile has pictures posted.  I have a set for sale if you are interested.
