3.6 LLT Timing Chain Issues

Is there still on ongoing issue with timing chains on 3.6s? Anyone on here a GM tech who knows if the later models have resolved the issue? I have heard rumors to that effect and that the bulk of the issues were on earlier Lambdas (08-10).

not a tech or mechanic lol but i think i heard the same deal about 2011 gm "fixed" it but the problem wasnt exactly clear if it was the chain or plastic tensioner some even say it was the oil and dont run the blend type only full synthetic. now this was about the llt
