I got my Summit lowering stuff yesterday, "Ground Force" is the brand, although it was advertised as "Summit Brand" in their catalog. Anywho, i'm having difficulty with the shackle/hanger kit. Anyone know an easy way to get the rivets out without having an air chisel? The directions say I need to air chisel the heads of the rivets off, then use a punch and hammer to get the remainder of the rivet out of the frame. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Large Hammer and a sharp chisel is another alternative.  I have heard people say they drilled them out, but you are on you own with that.

you could grind the heads off, lot faster than a chisel, just be mindful of the directions of your sparks, aim away from the gas tank LOL.

I plan on doing the hangers while replacing the bed. That way, i'd have full access and the gas tank would be as far away as possible from the grinding. Thanks for the input, though!

If you are going to have the bed off, invest in an air chisel.  It's faster than you think.  I did mine that way, and I have found multiple uses for the tool throughout my build.

BTW, I didn't mention this earlier but you can use a grinder too.

In the end, I wound up using my dad's professional grade Craftsman grinder. It worked out pretty well, just a lot of spots on the frame that need touch up black paint. Thanks for the support, guys!
