Chinese 2DIN aio input question....
« on: October 18, 2013, 12:47:23 am »
Hello.
My 88 Suburban has a DVD/GPS 2 DIN receiver. It has TV, but with analog signals being replaced with digital, I won't be able to use the tv function much longer. I was considering using an RF Modulator, which has a 75 Ohm coax input and output, with R-W-Y composite video stereo input. it was used to add a DVD player to a tv that only had coax connectors. is it possible to use the RF modulator on the Chinese stereo, it being for a house tv set?

Thank you,

TBL

Exactly what are you trying to do?

Unless the TV is digital capable, even with the modulator, you would still need a digital convertor box.

The Red-White-Yellow RCA inputs would accept a audio/video signal from RCA jack equipped radio-DVD-VCR-Sega-Xbox-etc. to play on/through the TV.

Is it not possible to find a flat screen that would fit and not look to bad?

I'm pretty sure it will work, I just need to know if the tv antenna inputs are compatible with the 75 ohm coax ones. the tv has 3.5 plugs. I know need an adapter to go from coax to 3.5.
