Thinking about buying some headers. Mine look pretty bad. Any suggestions on some quality ones that will fit my 78 chevy k10?

I have Hooker headers on my '78 K10. No invoice with a part number, as they were on it when I bought it. They look like they are #2453. I compared the pics (on JEGS:
http://www.jegs.com/i/Hooker/520/2453/10002/-1
), and they are pretty uniquely bent, and match mine exactly on both sides. I like them. They're holding up well.
Get these to put them on with. Much easier to keep torqued.

I also have Hooker headers and really like them. They are long tube 4-into-1 headers. They sit high up into the frame and cannot be seen drooping down under the frame like some brands. They are either 16 or 18 ga., though.
If I was going to do it over I would go 14 ga. for longevity and get them ceramic coated inside and out. I happen to like the bolt-up flanges that connect the headers to the exhaust pipe. That's what my Hooker's have. I forget what the name of the other style is at the moment.
There are also other styles of headers: Shortys, 4-into-2-into-1 and probably others. Each have merits. I suppose Google is your friend. All comes down to personal preference.

Ive got Flow Tech headers on my truck, got them from O'Reilly's for like 130$ ish. they arnt the most high quality ones, but i ceramic coated them and then work great! no rust, no leaks, and a decent price.

I've got Hedman Elite, ceramic coated headers on my '77 K20. They fit great! I got the ball-n-socket collector flange ones and wish I got the standard 3-bolt flange instead, but other than that they are excellent! 3/8" thick flanges, so you will need longer bolts to mount them to your heads, especially if you use the Remflex header gaskets, which I highly recommend. Just use LS header bolts, they are longer.
On my '91 V3500 with the 454 I have Doug Thorley Tri-Y's.
On both I have installed the Nordloc header bolts. They are more expensive, but they DO NOT loosen! I've never touched a header bolt after installing them.

I went to Hooker headers from Hedman.
I'm running a 454.
The Hedman headers would not allow me to use my front drive shaft after I took my lift off. The Hookers are bent totally different, and they work fine with no lift and having the front driveshaft.
When I called Headman about my problem they basically said I installed them wrong. I was like what the.......?
Anyhow, Jegs swapped the Hedmans for Hookers without any flak.
No more Hedmans for me.
