Delay wiper upgrade
« on: November 23, 2013, 10:58:53 pm »
I have an 87 R10 with standard wipers. I want to upgrade to delay wipers. What parts do I need to make them work? Is it "plug and play"?
I am pretty sure I need the new lever switch but do I need a relay too and what else?  is the column already wired for both?

You can do delay wipers.  Others here will know how to do it.  I like my setup, which is a mist button on the floor.  Much easier to do, and I prefer it, having had delay wipers in the past.  Check it out here:

I've only gone to delay wipers by upgrading a steering column that already had the correct wiper switch on the column and the delay module that plugs between the plugs.
