1986 K10 Stepside Father/Son Project
« on: April 09, 2014, 09:26:08 pm »
After a six month search we found this rust free Arizona 1986 K10 Stepside in November 2013. It is a father/son project for my oldest boy to drive to high school in a few years. We are having a blast with it so far....Vortec 5.7, 700R4, new interior, lift, wheels & tires. New wood bed is in the works...We get looks every time we take her out for a spin. Trying to teach my son the value of a good truck and what it takes to keep it on the road. Life is good!

First off welcome to the site from California.  I love father/son projects.reminds me of when my children were that young and helped out on projects.
What do you have left to fix or upgrade ?  You said vortec 5.7, did you switch it all over to FI or leave it carb'd ?  We all love pics if you ever get a chance to post them of the interior and engine compartment.
