I have a 85 k10 and was wondering how to hook up the stock temp gauge. I have the stock temp gauge already in the dash but I have now wiring. I was wondering what all I needed to have to hook it up so the the original gauge works.

The wiring from the factory is in the harness and comes out of the fuse box bulk head. Are you saying someone removed it?

Yes everything has been removed from the original gauge. I currently have an aftermarket one in there

You will need to put the wiring back to the cluster to make it start working again.. If someone removed it that were determined if they got it all out.

Do u know which wires they are by any chance. Plus what would I use for the wire that goes from the engine block to the temp gauge

Use the
1985 Wiring Manual
to help identify the correct wire cavities passing through the bulkhead and instrument cluster connectors. The factory temperature sender wiring is dark green. Wire spec is 18-gauge, crosslink GXL or SXL available from
Terminal Supply Co
,
Del City
and many others. GXL/SXL is slightly more costly than "parts house" wire, but better tolerates the high heat and ozone in automotive environments. Circuit routing between the cluster connector and gauge is via a flexible printed circuit board that is application specific.
