Pickup coils can fail intermittently. In fact, it's a rather common scenario.

Finally had time to fix it, it was the pick up coil. THANKS for all the input it was a lot I needed to learn.

glad you got her figured out. maybe i need to replace my coil on my 94. wonder if it was a bad connection on the coil?

Sounds like it is a possibly that's for sure.... Hmmm... Yeah you should look into the coil... Distributor... See if you can come up with something? I'm feeling inside like your on the right track there Irish ...
