I've got water coming from somewhere
« on: September 04, 2014, 08:04:07 pm »
On my 84 Silverado, when it rains, I get water that comes in on the driver and passenger side on the inside of the truck. It seems like it comes in from up under the dash and trails down the sides from the dash down near the doors and kinda down to the step/rockers. I'm just looking for some advice on what could be causing that and where I need to look.

Check your cowl area, outside in front of the front windshield.  It could have rusted holes there.

#2: There is no such thing as impossible, it just takes longer.

Another possibility is perforation from rust through under the windshield gasket.

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
