Carb tuning info and help!

I have a serious "bog down" on my 496 CID automatic on hard acceleration.  Have to let off and push back down.  Using Edelbrock 1411 carb.  Have changed springs around some, but not much help.  Acceleration good on highway.  Puzzled tuner!!!!!!!

sounds like fuel starvation=== lean condition
check your plugs for color
check fuel presssure
