Searching for a 350 or 383
« on: September 09, 2014, 10:24:13 pm »
Hi guys, I'm looking for a good website to find a cheap but good 350 or 383 engine (new or a good used) to replace my 28 year old but good 305 in my 1986 1/2 ton Scottsdale. Any sources or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks 8)

Do you have any motor shops around you ?  Sometimes you can get them cheaper locally and if anything goes wrong you can take it back to them.

Not exactly, I live in Alaska near Anchorage so there are a couple but I would rather not look at things up here that are not brand new because of ya know, it's Alaska.

Hi, I've had great luck ordering from Summit Racing!Great customer service!I also see that Blueprint Engines has great reviews on all of their crate engines. Summit usually has fall sales along with a big holiday sale! Also as bake said check locally because that usually results in good deals.

If you join Amazon Prime, you can order a new GM 350/260hp engine from Amazon and get free shipping.  (!)
