Rust spot
« on: February 17, 2015, 07:58:46 pm »
I need some advice, I have found a water leak located just above the ebrake in the corner part of the firewall. I can barely access it from the inside and its almost impossible from the outside. What is the best way to fix this with out cutting a lot. I was thinking drilling it out and using silicone...

Is there any way you can post a photo of the hole or area?

I had an 84 blazer with a leak up there. I silicones around everything that went through the firewall in that area and took the wiper cowl off to gain access to rust hole. I could barely get to it but it gave me just enough room to silicone over the rust hole. Hope this helps.

I would say you need to get under the cowl area and check it if it is leaking from there, or check the windshield area.
