While you have it jacked up
Grab the tire at the top and bottom and pull out on the bottom while you push in on the top
if it has any movement It usually the bearings bad

You can also use a prybar under the tire after you've jacked it up to help see what's worn out
Every old truck I've ever seen needs balljoints and tie rod ends and a drag link suspension bushings and usually bearings too
