led interior lighting help

i bought two 6 led light strips for my truck and i need to know how to wire them. im going to wire them into the turn signal indicators so they flash on one side or the other of my interior when my turn signals are on. the two strips are hooked up to the battery pack it came with right now but i need to know how to connect them to the turn signal indicators. theres a red wire and two black but then the two black wires connect into one double black wire. its for a 1983 chevy k10 if that helps, thanks
