Hydro boost part needed
« on: June 21, 2015, 07:51:05 pm »
I have an 86 c20 that I converted to hydro boost everything fit great but one thing, there is a "out put" rod that is suppost to be between the hydro boost and master cylinder to joint them when the petal is pushed. My old vacuumed power booster has it built in and it does not look like I can take it out. I need this rod and I can not find it on parts pages and may not even be using the right name. Please thank you

If I'm correct, you'll need to measure the travel distant of the Master cylinder's plunger before it hits the end and then match that to the foot pedal travel. This should help determine if you need the bullet spacer or not.

No for me the pedal is the same. Took a while but this is the only page I was able to find that sold was this one http://www.tallonhydraulics.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=64  .  Although their customer service to get an exact fit was horrible.  I also called cardone which are the products I bought from rock auto and they managed to find the parts one one of their cores and they sent it to me for free. Thank goodness
