82 k10 6.2 700r4 to 93 5.7 4l60e

seems like a fairly specific project, removed the diesel put in the 5.7 which bolted right up, installed the pcm, wired everything up, built a fuel sending unit/pump from the donor truck to the new trying to keep thing cost effective, ran my fuel lines, got er running well, drove it home burnede the Heck out of 3rd gear drove er back to town in manual 2nd, tore down the 700r4 it was pretty toast inside, tore down the 2wd 4l60e, it was in good shape inside but needed to swap the output shafts to make it a 4wd trans, did a basic rebuild while it was apart, installed it, it obiviously needed a VSS so it could shift, wired in the Vehicle speed sensor buffer from the old truck, bought a speed sensor kit from jagsthatrun.com since options really appear limited on that stuff since the vehicle has a mechanical speedometer it would not work they do sell different kits that could go between the transfer case and cable for a vss output but i was worried about if it would work and longevity and cost of course it was expensive so went the cheaper route installed a rear yoke reluctor ring and stock speed sensor, ran the wiring to the buffer installed a new Torque coverter clutch switch at the brake padal wired it in and it all worked well been driving it daily for a couple months now and have had no issues, anyway thats my build it runs and drives well with the newer components and i like it.

Nice job.
The T.V. bracket on your 6.2 is worth saving & throwing it on eBay.
You will be shocked at what they are worth.
