Thanks! We can go one of two ways, custom or stock. It can be just as expensive and nerve-racking both ways. But i's all good, amen.

Thanks for the encouragement, really appreciate it. I have given attention to everything that makes this truck stop and go, and of course the interior and then some. Amazing what a nice glossy coat of paint can do. I have been told from a really good body restoration place that i'd be looking at 10k for an ultimate resto. You know what i mean, that "better than showroom" look. Dont know if i want to go that far, more like 5k.

Anyone can go custom.  If I had one as sweet as yours it would be as close to stock as possible.  Make it as nice as you can without making it something you can't drive as needed and use it as a truck.  I had a Cutlass I went all the way with and didn't want to drive it cause I didn't want a scratch or stone chip in it.  I rarely had it out of the garage and when I did the weather had to be perfect.  I wouldn't park it anywhere for fear of it being stolen...

Very well stated zieg, going all factory stock is challenging and expensive. Although aluminum engines and lift kits and all that stuff is expensive too, the oem stuff is hard to find. And your right, its kind of a shame to not "use" our trucks. I probably wont haul around a load of bricks, so i tell my friends and family if anyone needs to haul a load of cotton or blankets...I'm your man! After i paint though, i would like to put it away for dec-feb, but thats it.

Oh, and i have seen some trucks on this site that make mine look like it belongs in a junkyard. Haha

And thanks for the encouraging words, means a lot coming from guys like you and irish, among others too.
