1977 Cheyenne armrests
« on: October 29, 2015, 04:31:26 pm »
Hi Guys,
I have a '77 Cheyenne K20, paint code 46 Holly Green with matching interior. My armrest pads are due for replacement. Can anyone recommend a supplier that produces them in green? Most of what I'm finding is black. I know I can vinyl spray them but I'd prefer not to if at all possible. Appreciate any input.
Greg

I'll give them a call Philo, thanks.
As far as the last year for Cheyenne, I just don't know but my '77 is definitely one. It's never been off-roaded, had a very good life, I bought it from the original owner in very original condition complete with Cheyenne badges and Z84 Cheyenne Option listed on the glove box tag.

I'm sure that says 4000 watt Delco something-or-other. Will you tell me what it is, please?

Tried Classic Parts web site, found every color listed except green.
Sent them an email inquiry several days ago, never heard back.  :-\

You will have to paint whatever arm rest you get.
Holly Green was not a popular color.

The last year for the Z84 - Chevy Cheyenne trim was 1980 in our bodystyle.

We sell Dashes Direct arm rests.  They in my opinion are the best.  None are available in Green they have to be painted to match.

you can purchase vinyl dye from any reputable paint store - i buy mine here in canada at napa its 20 bucks a pint but it goes along way - just prep the vinyl with good degreaser or wipe down with alcohol and brush on - it will absorb and dye the vinyl as apposed to painting it - did an interior on a 77 olds -loved it
