Dual tank selector valve question
« on: January 03, 2016, 09:54:37 am »
My truck has dual tanks but I only have the drivers side one plumbed in. I'm installing a new passenger side tank but my selector valve is junk. Are the reproduction one any good? My other option is weld on a sump to a new tank and add an electric pump to transfer to the driver side. Any thoughts? I'll only use the other tank during racing season

Pollack is still making them for the 81-91 dual tank systems.
EDIT: Pollack was the GM supplier.

I picked up a new selector valve from my local auto parts store.  No idea if they are good or bad - I use it continually (switch tanks every fill up) just to make sure it stays operational.

Most of the ones from the parts stores are Pollack.  Should have it on the part itself.
