Hey Guys, I'm looking at doing a 2 din stereo so I can run DVD/gps and Bluetooth. Has any one done this if so how much did you have to cut your dash? Can you post some pics please? Or is there an adapter available to do a 1 din and a flip out screen style stereo?

Depends on how much you want to spend. I did a single din in my 83 c10 i had. I only had to extend each side and inch or two to make the single din fit. They make single dins, with the screen you would like, on amazon for around $100. But there is a sleeve provided with the radio that you buy. As long as it is new.

I saw a thread someplace, I have no memory of where, of a guy that put one of those in the dash pad area, kind of above the ash tray. LOL...that is probably the exact opposite of helping you.  ;D Maybe you can search for it though.  :-\

I'd use a garmin portable GPS
Or the one in your smart phone

We put in a single din with Bluetooth
It has a CD player but who uses those any more ?
Smartphone has 900 songs podcasts and GPS and plays thru Bluetooth
