Grille emblem options

I have a 1985 chev C10 with the quad headlight grille.  My chevy grille emblem is pretty beat up and I would like to replace it.  I've looked at   and Classic industries and couldn't find one for my model year.  I was wondering if anyone has used a 1975-79 bowtie in its place.  I'm just not sure if the size is the same and if it will fit into the recess part of the grille.  I actually like the older one more, so I would prefer to use that if possible.

The bowties are physically a different size and shape for 70's and 80's emblems. The reason you can't post the letters is because they are a competitor vendor for parts to the site store here. Their name is restricted and will be automatically removed from any post.
