Loose connection by fuse panel
« on: May 02, 2016, 09:04:34 pm »
Can anyone tell me what this connection might be for? Nothing on the truck that doesn't work as far as I can tell, so just assuming it's for an option I don't have or maybe an assembly line hookup. Orange, single wire connection, lime green wire that comes through the firewall. 83 Silverado K-10.

From my experience, the light green wire is for the back up light. It may differ from truck to truck, but I would have someone watch you put it in reverse.

Nothing plugs into that orange connector.  It is a test port for the TCC circuit on an MV4 (350C) automatic transmission.
