Cam for 305

Anyone every stick a comp cam high energy 260h cam in a stock 305  .it's got headera with 2.5 inch duals a e fan .also has the stock converter on a turbo 350c .I'm gonna throw a edelbrock performer eps manifold on it since the gaskets are shot so I was thanking a bout throwing that cam in there.almost forgot it has a eddy 500 4 barrel carb. But I'm wondering how the idle and power would be be with cam in the 305 or if it's even worth the trouble
