Dashpad Interchange???

Looks like it's 73-78, 79-80, and, 81-87 C&K 88-91 R&V.

Whats different?? why would a 78 not work on a 79??

The 73-78 don't have a hole for the VIN, 79-80's do.  If you put a '78 dash on a '79 truck it will fit, but the VIN tag will be covered...
