Dome light wiring

On the drivers side what what does the brown wire hook up to i have the white wire hooked up to the door switch but there is a brown wire with the same end as the white wire but see no where to plug it on to

Please include Year, Make, Model etc.. when posting

If it's a tan wire with white stripe it may plug onto the park brake warning switch.  Provide a little more detail on what you are doing and post a pic if you can.
