ride height
« on: October 15, 2016, 07:07:39 am »
Question, Ive got an 85 2wd that I replaced all shocks and body mounts on and just noticed this.  I measured distance from floor to top of wheel well on all four tires and all is good except for the pass front, which is almost an inch lower. Could the spring be the culprit or is something else possible that I may have missed?

I have had close to 100 of these squarebody trucks and over half had that lean.  One of the few I addressed I found a broken coil when I removed it.

I think I'll check the coils.  I'm assuming they are OE since I've had it for over 25 years.
