oil pressure/water temp. wiring
« on: February 24, 2017, 01:13:54 pm »
I posted a while back about having some issues with my oil and temp. gauge not working and I recall someone stating the lines tie into each other?  Now, I can't find this information anymore.

Where are the oil and temp. switches located?  does anyone have a photo of the locations?

Thanks

I have an 85 K10 with an 82 305 in it.

The engine coolant temperature sender is located in the left (driver side) cylinder head between #1 and #3 cylinder spark plugs.  The engine oil pressure sender typically is located at the back of the intake manifold adjacent to the distributor, or alternately located in the left side of the engine block directly above the oil filter.
