« on: April 29, 2005, 08:34:00 pm »
I can not understand why I do not see any pictures on any post. I know it must be my computer. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anybody computer savy? Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance. All I get is white boxes with a red X in it. Help

I was checking out the trucks running for the truck of the month. I could see the white truck but the other truck was just the white box and a red X. So I checked out some other pictures and got the same red X in the white box. I fugure it must be my computer.

it isn't your PC

Don't worry, it isn't your PC...mine does it as well.  The picture is hosted by Webshots...I have seen this happen before with them.  You can always right click the red X, go to properties, then copy and paste the URL to your browser...then you will be able to see it.

OK, I was with you till you said "cope and paste to the URL to my Browser then you will see it". I do not know anything about paste and all that. I really do not know that much about these computers. But happy to hear it is not my computer. Thanks!   :D

To copy and paste, simply highlight the URL...right click and copy...then put your cursor in the address bar and right click and paste...then hit enter.

One more thing. I really have a stupid question. What is a URL??? I warned you I was not smart on these things. My grandkids show me how to use this. Thanks
