Foose....if you are going to drop that much coin on the set of wheels why on earth would you not take the time to measure and see exactly what you need with your wheel and tire combination? That's what you should be doing.

Oh yes for sure! I'm Canadian and by the time they get here its $5000 not including tires, I called Hills hotrods in Texas this morning, (they build countless square body trucks) the guy in charge of wheels was busy so they'll get back to me. most of the trucks they build go into magazines, they know what they're doing. but I've done lots of measuring myself already. 5.5 in the rear and 5 in the front. one last double check with the Texas guys before I make the order.

The 2 trucks I posted were in magazines too.  I wouldn't steer you wrong.

I have not yet ordered the wheels but will do so in the next few weeks, the rear will probably be 285/35 and the front 255/35. or so that's what I see the guys in magazines do.

What did you decide to do? I have an '83 that i'm getting ready to buy wheels and tires and wanting to go with the same dims. Let me know.
