Just checking in from the desert of south Eastern California. Recently purchased a 1985 K10 Silverado.
Came stock with a 305/TH400/NP208
Only thing different is the motor was swapped with a 350. Other than that, she’s stock... Well, the 350 has an RV cam in it, but that’s it.
Anyways, I’ve already swapped in a reman Quadrajet and what a difference that made...
I still have to resolve a few other issues to resolve...
1. NP208 wont go into low-4
2. Transmission leaks
3. Seat needs recovered
4. Electric Choke (female) plug is broken
5. AC needs to be reinstalled
6. Want to install a bigger radiator
7. And a trans cooler
8. Needs tires
Still, I hope to have her on the road in a month or less. Hopefully in time for the spring thaw and a few good early trails.
I hope to be able to reach out for help as I may need it. And of course, if I can help, I’ll be sure to chime in. Thanks!

All stock except for the motor, used to be a 305.

In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
